The Story of a Photographer

There's something about a precious moment being captured that lights my soul on fire. It's about capturing MORE than the moment. I was a little girl when I got my first camera, and my passion for photography has grown ever since. Growing up, I would take pictures of anyone that would let me - all of the time. When I went to college, I was so excited to turn my hobby into a job. However, those plans changed when all of my gear was unfortunately stolen. This really discouraged me and I steered away from photography for a bit. When I graduated college, I purchased new gear and began taking photos again for fun again. Unexpectedly, I started to get feedback on the photos I would take. Whether it be my own instagram photos, pictures from family gatherings/holidays, or senior pictures I took for a friend- the feedback was outstanding.

At that time, I did have a full time job, so I put my focus towards that. I felt I lacked what it took to be a "professional photographer". But something else was lacking. I knew I had something within me waiting to jump out, I knew I wanted to create something of my own where I could express my creativity.

With the continuous and overflowing encouragement I received from friends and family, I finally took the leap of faith.

And I am so glad I did.

I am grateful for everyday I get to be on this earth pursuing this long-time dream of mine. I am thankful for every single client who has invested in me and trusted me.

I do a tiny happy dance and am all giddy everytime I get a booking or even just an inquiry.
